Le Petit Ménec stone rows

The Le Petit Ménec stone rows in the municipality of La Trinité-sur-Mer are the eastern extension of the Kerlescan alignments in Carnac. They are accessible from a small car park to the east via a footpath, a good way of exploring the site.

Now woodland, with many more trees than at the turn of the twentieth century, the area is home to over 200 standing stones, arranged in between three and eight lines facing east-west, south-west, and north-east.

After being purchased by the French state in 1886, 56 of the menhirs were re-erected.
