The Mané Roullarde gallery

A fine example of a gallery grave

The Mané Roullarde gallery grave is a tomb in which the passage merges into the burial chamber. This twenty-metre-long monument features a narrow passage, just 1m20 wide. Monoliths form the straight sides, but there are only four top stones left. One can imagine the oval tumulus that once covered the stone gallery grave. Today the tumulus has mostly been eroded, but traces can still be seen around the edge of the monument.

Mané Roullarde gallery grave was listed as a Historic Monument in 1929.
