Dolmen of Kerran
Three dolmens – one of which is no longer on site
The Kerran dolmens feature single passage graves and circular burial chambers. They were built out of granite and were formerly covered by a tumulus; these have now eroded away. The structures date back to the mid-Neolithic Era (around 4000-3500 BC). Only two dolmens now remain. The third was bought in 1896, amidst opposition from Z. Le Rouzic, and moved to Meudon cemetery in Ile de France to be used as a burial monument for the Piketty family.
These monuments have been listed as Historic Monuments since 1927.
