Dolmen of Grah Niol

A dolmen with a side chamber

Grah Niol dolmen is a grave dating back to the Neolithic Era: around 4000-3500 BC. Today, the passage and burial chamber with a side chamber to the left can still be seen. Flint tools, axes, pottery and variscite beads were found in this dolmen, excavated in 1895 by Félix Gaillard. The exposed concrete pillars in the burial chamber date from restoration work carried out in the 1930s to support the monument.

The monument has a number of engravings (crooks, u-signs, buckler motifs, and handled axes).

It has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1973.
